Imam-khatib schools have an important place in our foundation’s international services. Imam Khatib Secondary and High Schools, a major initiative for raising generations that have something to say to the world and know and observe their religion well, were supported in many countries of the world during their establishment and operation.
Students are taught courses of life and social sciences along with Qur’an al Kareem, Fiqh, Hadith, Tafseer, Sirat ul Nabi, Islamic Creed, History of Prophets, History of Religions and Islamic History in modern education environments. Students who successfully graduate from these schools continue their education in their countries in various branches, while the most successful ones are given the chance to receive university education in Turkey.
More than 5000 students in 14 countries are enrolled in 20 imam khatib schools or equivalent, with a quality of education that will help to close the qualified human resource gap. In the years they graduated students, these schools have been placed near the top in general success rankings in their respective countries. Many of them ranked first in their countries with 100% success rate.
