“Rather, the temples of Allah are maintained by the one who believes in Allah and the Last day, holds the contact prayer (salat), give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and he does not fear except Allah. It is these that will be of the guided ones.” (Surat at-Tawba, 18)
“Whoever builds a masjid by demanding the consent of Allah, Allah will build a house for him in paradise.” (Bukhari, Salat, 65)
In African cities with a population of tens of thousands, we come across Muslims who pray in the Sahara because there are no mosques or masjids. Especially our brothers living in rural areas have to pray in an open area covered with grass in many places, on sandy ground under sun and rain. For these brothers to have the opportunity to pray in a clean, fresh and cool environment, we are building multi-purpose complexes that include mosques-masjids and different outbuildings.
The mosques-masjids and complexes we built, in addition to being a place of worship, have the identity of being a center where Islamic education is provided with non-formal education in the halakha style, the people of the region are made aware of the regular conversations and where different social-cultural activities are performed.
We ask our Almighty Allah that the prayer calls that will rise from these mosques-masjids and complexes, which were built with your contributions, touch all barren hearts in need of compassion and mercy and be a means of guidance with the message of Islam.
