Zarafet Education Mentoring and Culture Center carries out education programs and provides coordination and mentoring services, with the aim of raising exemplary and pioneering women who have adopted values of our civilization and equipped with knowledge, wisdom and sense of service, and meeting the growing need for qualified managers and trainers in non-governmental organizations and education institutions.
Modernization caused complications in thinking and living as a Muslim and offering solutions to problems of contemporary times. Gazanfer Ağa Madrasah Education and Culture Center carries out activities and organizes education programs in order to address this problem and aims at raising qualified scholars, by re-interpreting the knowledge norms relying on the roots of the Islamic Civilization and generating the knowledge base needed for an authentic social system.
Istanbul Tasawwuf Research Center (İSTAM) organizes symposiums, panel discussions and seminars in the field of Sufism and publishes a biyearly academic journal titled Tasavvuf, with the aim of developing a notion of tasawwuf under light of Ahl al Sunnah.
15 cultural centers under partner associations and foundations that we support abroad provide training to men and women of all ages in many fields including Islamic values, reading-writing, language, computers, handicrafts, needlework, cooking, decoration and ornamentation. More than 2,000 people take part in these activities. The trainees were successful in official certification exams and could find jobs accordingly.
These centers fill a vacuum for older people in countries where religious education is unavailable or Qur’an is just taught orally. Qur’an courses for illiterates are in high demand. These courses have been lifesaver for people suffering economically due to lack of a profession and provided the means to support the family budget.
